Hats can shade eyes in sunny weather. Hats can hide unkempt hair. Hats can be an integral part of a disguise. Hats can protect one's head from falling objects. Hats can retain heat. Hats can identify what a person does for a living. A single hat can fulfill any multitude of purposes and functions.
I am a man of many hats. I have a videographer hat, a web designer hat, a photographer hat, a racecar helmet, and a few other smaller hats that I wear on special occasions.
